Toughening ABS and PC/ABS compounds

Acrylonitrile?– Butadiene – Styrene terpolymers (ABS) and?their blends?with Polycarbonate (PC/ABS) are widely used?in many applications such as Automotive, E&E and Home Appliance. These products?benefit from very good?mechanical behaviour and rather easy processing. In order to meet the required properties for such demanding?applications, impact resistance can be effectively optimized by using Lotryl??T?ethylene-acrylate copolymers and?Lotader? AX?ethylene-acrylate-glycidyl methacrylate terpolymers. Lotryl??T is also an excellent additive to enable the use of recycled ABS and recycled PC/ABS.

ABS?Impact?modification:

Lotryl??29MA03T?ethylene-acrylate copolymer significantly improves impact strength of the ABS compound. It gives the best balance toughness/stiffness of the compound while maintaining good fluidity to allow all types of applications.?
