We live in a challenging world. Like many of you, the "COVID-19" pandemic dropped us to the canvas. Last week, we closed down the IRONBOUND Boxing Academy, lost our ability to generate revenue from our on-site boxing classes, and now face an uncertain economic future. These are the facts, there's no hiding it. After accepting our current reality, we picked ourselves up off the canvas, licked our wounds, and jumped back in the fight.
Starting Monday, we began streaming free workouts on the IRONBOUND Boxing Instagram page. With the closure of public schools, recreation centers, and other aggressive "social distancing" measures, youth & young adults in low-income communities are more vulnerable now, than ever. With limited income, a lack of recreational outlets, and a constantly evolving "Black Swan" situation, our new fight is to keep them informed and engaged.

We're mobilizing IRONBOUND Boxing around digital media and content creation. Every day at 4:30 PM/ET we're running free workouts on our Instagram Page. Help us spread the word. In addition, we're creating video content, podcast, and workout templates. Our intent is to distribute content on all our social media platforms. Yesterday on Instagram Live, I also shared the importance of "stopping the spread" and answered questions regarding the pandemic. Many youth & young adults are unaware of how serious the "COVID-19" pandemic really is. As a brand, we're uniquely positioned to help them understand.
We are all facing an uncertain future. This is "Black Swan" territory. All we can do is support one another, the best we can, with what we have. Always remember, "Tough times don't last, tough people do."
