The Tough Lessons in Estate Agency

As many will know, I'm on a mission to raise standards in the UK estate agency industry and to ensure that agents are well remunerated for doing an exceptional job for their clients.
I've always been client focused V's profit focused (the money is the result of doing a great job.
Here are a few things I know that may help agents to think differently.
We have a bias for taking action, think NOW and not HOW. Here is the reality of taking action. The longer you wait the harder it is to take action.
Reframe your thought process to choosing to V's having to, because nobody like to be told what to do. You don't have to lead generate every day you choose to!
This subtle re-frame works, try it next time you feel resistance.
I surround myself with positive people and this helps me to put ME in the position of 'luck' You can't get wet if you're not in the water and of course you'll miss the best waves if you are on the beech. In one sentence, your luck surface area does not increase while you are sat on the sofa watching television.
Develop resilience and perseverance- Today, tomorrow, next week.
Understand that the best in everything understand that there are no hole in ones. I've learnt to accept that some of my actions will not be rewarded today, tomorrow or next week. My fuel is learning and sharing and this makes me realistic and helps with resilience. I know only 20% of what I share my audience will listen to or use.
What you deposit today will pay you back later. What are you putting into your piggybank? If the answer is nothing it's not too late to make a change.. Remember choose to.
We all have doubts, we all have knockers and negative commentators. When you hear things that are not helpful ask yourself these two questions.
