Tough Fishing Season

So far, over 60% of the First fishing season quota has been captured over a month since the lifting of the ban. After digesting the low TAC given by the government we must say conditions are giving full support to such decision. Bad wheather (under Peruvian authorities criteria by the way) and high presence of juveniles on fishing areas, give as a result a slow advance on completing quotas and uncertainty start to show face on whether we will be able to complete it or not. We all expect better conditions on following days, but things don't seem to get right so far. Sea water temperature is back to normal, hopefully in few more days we will find the right schools of anchovy to overcome actual fishing statistics.

As always, don't ever give it for granted. Every fishing season is a complete different story, and we have a lot of stories to tell already. Let's expect the best but be ready for the worst.
