Tough Choices

Tough Choices

Greetings, Carl here.

After we’ve gone through the process of planning for our financial future, and it’s become obvious to us that we need to save a little more, we inevitably have to make some trade-offs.?

Do we send the kids to camp or put money in their college savings?
Do we buy the annual ski passes or put in new landscaping??
Do we take a family vacation or finally get the plumbing redone?

It feels tough sometimes. Everyone goes through it. (You’ll get through it.)

P.S. The Society of Advice is business mindset coaching created just for advisors. There is no support quite like this in our industry. If you’re serious about being elite at your craft, building a remarkable firm, and confidently leading your clients, now is the perfect time to join The Society of Advice. Our March 2024 monthly workshop will be all about peer accountability groups, and I think they will change your practice (and life!) for the better. Get your first workshop free here.

Great visual Carl - most clients need help with this dilemma and whatever the outcome it is better to make an informed trade off rather than sleepwalking into a disappointing future

I believe it's essential to carefully consider the trade-offs we make in any decision. Being able to prioritize and weigh the pros and cons is crucial in navigating complex situations. By understanding the trade-offs, we can make informed choices that align with our goals and values.
