Touchstones
I am always appreciative of the comments received from others that take the time to read my posts. It helps to know that some of the things I share are meaningful and helpful to others (as well as myself). Recently, I have been reminded of experiences earlier in my career when I was struggling to find my way. Being worried about the future, having too much month at the end of the money and not having the confidence that the hard work I was doing would pay off. I am so glad I didn't give up or just quit! Yes-I had some challenging circumstances (many in hindsight created by the choices and decisions I made) but for whatever reason I always thought that I would overcome and succeed.
For those currently enduring changes, please don't quit before the miracle! Take a few moments to honestly look at the circumstances where you find yourself. This looking inward can be difficult but it is worth it. Several years ago, I was at a turning point and made a choice. It was tough but in hindsight it was so worth it. The lessons I learned through all of the highs and lows of my life and career have always been worth it. Surrounding you in peace. In my thoughts.
