Giveback Conference: Break The Stigma: "A Creative's Journey with Mental Health"
Join us in the heart of Lancaster's music scene for an unforgettable experience at the Giveback Music Festival and Conference!
The festival celebrates the power of music and community, providing artists with a platform for self-expression while fostering connections that inspire positive change. In an effort to further support art and community initiatives. Touchstone Foundation and the Lancaster County Community Foundation has partnered with Ripple Hub?to sponsor our “Ripple YOU” scholarships. These scholarships are tailored to offer creatives an exclusive opportunity to gain FREE access and insights from industry professionals at the Giveback Conference as well as FREE entrance to the Giveback Music Festival taking place at West Art Community Center on Saturday, November 16th.

A Journey Towards Licensure?
Christy Ranco’s Story-Christy’s passion for mental health began after graduating with a psychology degree. However, her initial career trajectory didn’t lead directly into counseling.?For individuals like Christy Ranco, who recently completed her fellowship, the program has been instrumental in shaping both their professional journey and personal growth. Christy shared her story with us, reflecting on how she entered the mental health field and how the fellowship has impacted her career.
From Nursing to Counseling in Africa
Nicole began her career in healthcare as a nurse, eventually taking her nursing skills overseas to the Republic of South Sudan in central Africa, where she worked as a community health nurse at the?Loreto?Girls Secondary?School. Her story highlights the importance of mentorship, financial support, and supervision in helping emerging counselors in Lancaster County achieve their licensure.
