Touching base, some Friday links, talent or money balance of power, a brief update and destination Scotland!

Again, I reach out to my network on a Friday afternoon. No particular reason but to stay in touch and see how all are doing or if there is any news, share some items I have found interesting, seek advice or opinion and provide a quick update.

Some links to items I have fund interesting of late:

Seeking Your Opinion:

On the back of the discussion at this week’s BioWednesday at ARC West London’s wonderfully new Refinery space where the subsequent LinkedIn post developed the discussion further, I thought I would take the opportunity to seek the opinion of my wider network on a question posed to the panel as part of the discussion. When thinking about what constitutes a great ecosystem and location to grow a life science company that needs to attract investment, does money follow the talent or does talent follow the money? I have created a poll on LinkedIn to enable folk to express the view.

?

From last week’s poll. Thanks for those voting, I shall revisit the outcome as we plan towards BIO 2025

?

Brief Update:

Whilst we now enter the countdown period to the One Nucleus Annual Awards Dinner, it is getting exciting looking at the trophies, the seating plans and finalising the sponsorship deals – deadline to book is Friday 14 March. and this year’s Boston Bootcamp it is great to have signed off on the upcoming One Nucleus Highlights publication, be supporting our members at BIO Europe Spring and be building April 9 BioWednesday.

?

I wish you a great weekend filled with whatever you enjoy and hope our paths cross again soon. I shall be watching the Six Nations rugby with interest as usual and thinking about those Welsh rugby fans making their Scottish Trip – perhaps with more hope of a result than we would have dared believed a few weeks back!

?

Best wishes,

Tony
