The health ramifications of consuming water contaminated with trihalomethanes are of social and epidemiological interest. Trihalomethanes, such as chloroform, bromoform, dibromo(chloro)methane, and bromo(dichloro)methane, are present in the major watersheds across the United States. To understand the impact of socioeconomic background on the quality of water and possible disparities, the researchers analyzed the levels of #total_trihalomethanes in the metropolitan areas in the major #watersheds across the United States, in 2018. Information obtained from the present study could be used by governmental agencies to draft guidelines, in order to keep the population better informed of the drinking water quality in their areas. #Contaminants #Household_Income
