Torrent Trackside order 12 MEWP's with new ‘Overload’ system

Delighted to announce that Torrent Trackside have just ordered another 12 of our ART 17TH MEWP's, all with our new ‘Overload system’ option. A system designed essentially to protect both the operator and the asset.

Once this order is completed Torrent Trackside will have 21 of our ART 17TH MEWP's at their disposal, totally endorsing their objective of ‘staying on track 24 hours a day, 365 days a year’.

Our new ‘Overload’ system employs self-encrypted software which is written from information available from the OEM manufacturer (Manitou), inclusive of full 360 load charts. The LLI configures the allowed maximum weight and within the basket, the operator can see this both as a digital read out and as an indicator in proportional values (red-yellow-blue). The datalogger output will then immediately warn the operator if any overload has occurred. A similar warning indicator system (red-yellow-blue) is also visible from ground level on the back ballast as seen in the image above.
