If you’re a hiring manager yourself, the hiring market is still competitive even in the wake of recession talks, so take some time to strategize how you can find the right fit for your team.?

Question: If a job posting says "cover letter optional," do you submit one?

To finish off the month, we asked our followers for their opinions on cover letters. 64% of voters said they wouldn’t submit a cover letter if it was only described as optional, though comments show that applicants might consider writing a cover letter if they?really care about a specific position. What do you think?
