Topping-out ceremony for the new ElbAir service and visitor center at Airbus

Dear Subscribers,

The rain never came. Heavy, grey clouds threatened to deluge this week's ElbAir topping-out ceremony in Finkenwerder but, thankfully, they didn't dampen the festive spirit. The expansive new visitor and service centre taking shape there will double the planned capacity for visitors to Airbus's biggest site in Germany. It will let Airbus and the aviation industry here in the city extend a wider welcome and forge even more new connections. And not just with the Airbus business partners staying at the stylish new hotel housed at the complex; the facility will also be a new point of contact for local Finkenwerder residents, too. Congratulations to everyone involved in this exciting project!

Wishing you a great week!

Finnja Czacharowski, Angus Baigent and the Hamburg Aviation Team
