Top5 CEE Events for Logistics & SC professionals to attend in Y2023
1. TransLogistica (Poland)
Date: November 7-9, 2023
Location: EXPO XXI, Warsaw
Details: My personal favourite. One of the biggest tradeshows in the CEE region - 300+ exhibitors?and?9000+ participants?from?58?countries attended TransLogistica in 2022. This year, we've had 70+ high-quality meetings with stunning conversion rates to further meetings and "opportunities" opened - which is extremely important from the sponsor's point of view. Here you invest lots of money (especially when you want to have an impressive booth and trust me - some were insane this year!), but it totally pays off as the quality of contatcs and relations you make here is outstanding. If you want to meet all the CEE transport & logistics related brands that matter, that's the right place to be. From the event manager perspective - the co-op with organizers is easy and professional, you have access to a dedicated partner page, where you see all the deadlines, requiremensts, etc.
My rating: 10/10 recommend!

2. TransLog Connect Congress (Hungary)
Date: November 2023 (details TBD)
Location: Budapest Congress Center
Details: Winner in the "networking" category :) Apart from the regular parts like speaking sessions and booth area, the 400+ participants have access to a "meeting scheduler" application, that allows (surprise, surprise) pre-scheduling your event meetings ;) you see the person's name, company, jobtitle, so you know exactly who you are meeting with. Simple and intuitive, is a huge benefit for the event managers, as you can be sure that your sales team on the booth will have their calendars fully booked. As for CEE sponsorship package prices ar high, yet you pay not only for exhibition, but most importantly for the meetings. Last, but not least - big plus for eventing receptions and optional excursions.

3. Retail Summit (Czechia)
Date: March 28-30, 2023
Location: Prague Congress Centre

Details: Organized annually since 1994, each year gathers nearly?1,000 participants?– mostly senior managers of retail and supply companies. Great event to attend, if your custumers are among retail-related companies (and sure they are for logistics software providers!). A most welcome part of the Retail Summit is the accompanying programme, in particular a Gala evening, with the Mastercard Retailer of the Year Awards. Some big names in the line-up, interesting agenda, we are definitely checking this one this year.
My rating: 7.5/10 (but let me revise that after the event. My expectations are pretty hight, as I've heard many good recommendations, but need to check it personally ;) )

4. Transport & Logistics (Czechia)
Date: October 10-13, 2023
Location: Brno Exhibition Centre
Details: One of the major events in Central and Eastern Europe’s fair calendar, that takes place every two years. With 200+ exhibitors and 16,000+ visitors and buyers is an interesting option for logistics & supply chaing professionals. On my Y2023 to-go list and I have to admit, I'm really curious on this one. Very good companies on the registation list, interesting alongside events, dedicated panels on digitalization. I have a feeling that might be our next solid event, similar to TransLogistica. But let's see what happens :)

5. Logistics Manager Masterclass (Poland)
Date: March 22-23, 2023
Location: Warsaw (venue details TBD)
Details: LMM is rather a local, than regional event, yet will be a great choice for those who want to reach out to major polish companies. Way smaller then the other four (circa 200 participants in 2022), but perfectly organized, good prices for sponsorship packages, engaging speakers, top management & executive participants, good brands, promotional coverage nad high ROI. If you're event planner in the logistics industry, you will appreciate and like this event, despite te size. But hey - quality over quantity, right?
