Applause—a testing and digital quality provider—has announced new capabilities designed to help clients train, test, and validate high-quality generative AI models. With Applause's unique model, companies can improve customer experience, reduce bias, and combat some of the most significant challenges involved in deploying AI: accuracy, trust, vias, inappropriate content, and ethical/regulatory compliance.
Datadog, a monitoring and security platform for cloud applications, has announced the general availability of Workflow Automation, a new product that enables teams to automate their end-to-end remediation processes. Workflow Automation uses out-of-the-box actions and pre-built templates that users can employ to automate remediation processes across systems, apps, and services. These features will help companies identify, investigate, and resolve service disruptions, security threats, and other issues.
Deltek, a global software provider for project-based businesses, has announced a new version of Costpoint, its ERP for government contractors. The latest release adds enhanced functionalities, new features, and a "forward-thinking" design specifically built to help clients manage government contracts and operations. These new features include an improved time entry experience, automatic email reminders, updates to the user experience, and new capabilities for its project accounting, source-to-pay, contract management, and small business offerings.
Genpact, a global professional services firm, has announced that it's working with Google Cloud to help businesses accelerate their artificial intelligence (AI) strategies. The partnership will also support companies as they learn to take advantage of generative AI and use it to drive actionable business insights. Together, the companies will leverage Google Cloud's GenAI capabilities to empower companies across industries with the technology they need to accelerate cloud, data, and analytics modernization journeys.
Mendix—a Siemens business and global enterprise application development solutions provider—has revealed its new strategy for building a robust technology partner community. The new community will help software startups, independent software vendors, value-added resellers, enterprises, and systems integrators accelerate digital transformation initiatives. Mendix also announced an expansion to its collaboration with Amazon Web Services, which will broaden the scope of its cloud deployment and development operations for companies worldwide.
Pigment, a business planning platform, has raised $88 million in a Series C funding round led by ICONIQ Growth, with help from previous investors Meritech, IVP, and FirstMark. The investment brings the company's total amount raised to nearly $250 million. The company will use the new funds to drive its sustainable growth initiatives and invest in product innovations, including new automations for collaborating planning efforts, sales planning features, and Pigment AI, a chat-like interface for automating tasks.
Pipefy, a global no-code process automation provider, has announced Pipefy AI, a new technology solution that combines AI functionalities like OpenAI and GPT-4 with Pipefy's no-code process management and automation platform. Pipefy AI will enhance users' process management efforts by providing enhanced data insights that help them accelerate and optimize the speed of building processes. Quickbase, an application platform provider, has announced the newest generation of its platform at Empower 2023, its flagship customer event. The latest version of the platform will provide customers with innovative capabilities designed to centralize information and processes across complex business environments. These capabilities include an updated user interface, tools for setting up custom logic for data validation, native integration with Snowflake, mobile dashboards, and scaled solution management, a feature that allows app builders to manage multiple apps as a single unit.

Riverbed, a unified observability solution provider, has released new intelligent automation workflows for its Alluvio Unified Observability portfolio. The capabilities are powered by the Alluvio LogiQ Engine and use pattern recognition, automation, and correlation to help IT reduce escalations and focus on the most critical issues with up-to-date information that's sent to IT service management (ITSM) tools. These intelligent automations are designed to improve the digital employee experience (DEX) by helping with incident responses, automated ticket generation from the integration with ServiceNow, security forensics automation, and expanded desktop remediations.
Shippeo, a multi-model shipment visibility platform provider, has revealed Transportation Process Automation, a new solution designed to "transform" automation in supply chain management initiatives. The new solution uses Shippeo's real-time transportation visibility data as its foundation to help companies anticipate risks, collaborate amongst teams, automate end-to-end supply chain transportation processes, and achieve higher performance, resilience, and customer satisfaction levels. The announcement was made at the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo 2023 conference in Barcelona, Spain.
