Duwili Falls, Ella?

The Duwili Ella Falls, also known as Walawe Ganga East Falls, is a milky stream of water suspended at 40m above the ground. It is located in Thanjantenna, Rathnapura's district Duwili. The Sinhalese translation of Duwili means "dust". Because of the speed at which water flows, it looks like dust falling from a skyscraper. This is why the name "Duwili" was chosen.

Bomburu Ella

The waterfall is seasonal and can dry up in the dry season. This makes December to January and April-May the best seasons for the trip. The surrounding area is known for its beauty. The Bomburuella water comes from a few sources, such as the Gregory lake in Nuwara Eliya. It flows to Baduluoya where it is taken to Uma River. Uma River then transports the water to BaduluOya.
