Now that 2019 is coming to a close, I thought it would be a great time to highlight my top 20 favourite shows of the year.

There is no particular order here except for my top 3! So, the questions is….what did I miss?

Number 1: Succession (HBO)

No other show this year, in my opinion, is as quotable as Succession. Its opulence and raw comedic pace feels like no other show on TV.

Number 2: Euphoria (HBO)

Euphoria is just so uncomfortable to watch. And while every "teen" issue seems to be represented in a very over the top way, its direction and acting is beautiful.

Number 3: The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon)

Completely the opposite of Euphoria! Light, funny and entertaining. A very easy show to watch with some of the best writing on TV.

Great post Dan!? Glad to see Mandalorian made your list.? I think The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel gets better with every season.? That said, one show which might have been overlooked - Schitt's Creek.

Fleabag. Omg fleabag is missing! And what about Killing Eve? So hard - so many great shows. I miss The Americans.
