- Share your presentation.
- Tell the students that they have 30 seconds to memorise what they can see.
- Unshare the presentation and delete 1 flashcard.
- Share the presentation again an ask: 'what's missing?'
- Get learners to prepare their own flashcards!
- It can be as assigned as homework as part of a craft project or as an activity during the synchronous lesson
- Get them to do their digital flashcards with apps like flashcard online or any flashcard generator. Pen and paper flashcards will also do
- 3. Show students a few flashcards and give them some seconds to memorise what they can see.
- Delete one card or two and tell them to act out the cards missing!
- Adapt this according to the topic: get them to grab realia, to wear the missing items (if clothes)
- Create a set of bingo cards (in myfreebingocards.com)
- Send a different card to every student Say the names of the objects
- Students listen and write a cross on the word if it is in their grid. The first student to write a cross on all six words in their grid calls Bingo! and is the winner.
- Prepare a slide with sets of 3 or 4 flashcards
- Students have to say which is the odd one out and why.
- E.g. schoolbag, Monday, pencil and ruler. Monday, because it's not a school supply.
- Repeat this procedure several times
