If you're a professional struggling with LinkedIn then these top tips might just be the answer to all of your marketing questions! Make sure you've ticked all of these top tips off to have an awesome LinkedIn profile and watch your audience grow!
- Be Exciting! - Now I'm not saying to go wild but liven up your profile a little bit! Let's not beat around the bush, we've all seen profiles which are a little boring and don't showcase the best of peoples personality or their best skills. Why not try and add an interesting story or pitch in your summary, have a video pop up in the first few seconds of someone visiting, or at the very least tell people who you are, what you can do to help them, and how you can do it!
- Add Your Company! - LinkedIn is constantly changing, for the most part it's for the better. If you didn't already know then it now allows you to add your company and various showcase pages, share more information about your products or services, and give people a little bit more information on why they should choose you. Showcase your work, your portfolio, your gallery, just get it out there!
- Don't Forget to Recommend! - I’m a firm believer in helping others succeed as much as I possibly can. The more you give, the more you will receive! Recommending others businesses or people without them asking you to is a great way to help increase the social proof on their profile and in-return they should check you out too and hopefully leave an amazing review, it really could could be the difference between an OK year, and a great year for them!
Try them out, if you don't already do these 3 things let us know why, whether it's time constraints, didn't know about them or another reason.
