Landing yourself a job as a CRA can be extremely difficult, especially if you are in the early stages of your career! This is mainly due to the challenging nature of the industry and the intensity of the roles.?
You may still find that as a?‘graduate’?with all the relevant experience, skills, and qualifications that it’s difficult for you to score your first job as a CRA. Here we've summarised some important things that you should consider during your CRA job search.
Be realistic.?
Be realistic about the types of jobs that you can attain based on the stage that you are at in your career. Through the adoption of a more targeted approach, in terms of the types of positions that you are applying to. This helps you save time and effort and avoid stress and disappointment! For example, if you do not have any relevant experience stick to entry-level jobs as the likelihood of you attaining a more senior role is very slim.
Emphasize your relevant work experience.
When applying for a CRA position make sure you take the time to thoroughly look through and read the job description and requirements. Once you’ve identified the requirements, you can proceed to highlight all the relevant experience you have on your CV to match the job description and requirements. In addition to tweaking your CV, you should also focus on writing a customised cover letter for the role that you are applying for. This is your ‘chance to shine’ and highlight any relevant skills, qualifications, and experience that you have that match the job description. This shows effort and high interest in the position and company, which is what a cover letter is all about!
