The Top Three Performing Posts of April

The Top Three Performing Posts of April

Doubling down on what works and losing what doesn’t is moving forward. ?? ??

In that spirit, at the end of every month, I’ll be looking at my top three performing posts. ??

Looking into why they performed well, what themes they were centered around and what lesson we can pull from a content creation perspective

Outcome: 113 Reactions | 18 Comments | 8,340 Views

Why: This post did well because it was timely (Easter), tagged the right people (Folks at Procurement Foundry), and organization, and elevated them by celebrating their achievements. It generally fell within the values of gratefulness and celebration that Easter brings so it performed well.

Themes:

? Community

? Gratefulness

?Procurement Foundry

Lesson: If you are going to time your posts around an event, make sure the subject of the post aligns with the values the event imparts. Tag people and the community for added value.

#2 Procurement and Sales Gap and Recommendations on Bridging it ??(https://www.dhirubhai.net/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6917448524976517120/)

Outcome: 53 Reactions | 18 Comments | 7,878 Views

Why: This post performed well because it addressed an issue (The gap between sales and procurement) around a topic (procurement) that I regularly post about. It also added some context and ideas like blended roles and KPIs that can help solve the gap and relayed it to the common point both departments have (customer journey)

Themes:

? Procurement

? Sales

? Pipeline

Lesson: ?When you post regularly about a topic, try to find a problem that is not posted about too much and add your own flavor to it. By developing expertise around a specific topic, you learn from the bases and relay it to your own experience which then develops your own knowledge and expertise.

#3 Revealing my Dragonball Fanhood ????(https://www.dhirubhai.net/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6923230056622243840/)

Outcome: 36 Reactions | 17 Comments | 3,773 Views

Why: The performance of this post was due to humanizing the profile behind my brand and sharing lessons in vulnerability I had learned throughout my childhood. Relaying it to leadership made the post more poignant and shared a fresh version of leadership.

Themes:

? Vulnerability

? Dragonball

? Leadership

Lesson: Sharing details about your personal life can be done right as long as it aligns with your brand and adds value to the community. Being vulnerable is a breath of fresh air for many folks and humanizing the exchange of information can add a great spin to building a Linkedin tribe.
