I have a Printer/Copier Jam! How can I fix it?

Luckily, the new devices that out in the field are advanced enough to show you the jam area on the user interface screen. This will help you locate the exact area of the jam and often list instructions to follow in order to clear the jams. Once you find the jam, make sure to remove the paper slowly, pulling gently with both hands. This will avoid a tear in the paper and make it more complicated to clear and clean the jam area. Depending on the compactness of your device this might get tricky. If the paper tears leaving a piece in an area you are unable to reach, please place a service call ASAP. Do not attempt to force it out. Sometimes, jams are located in areas where a tech’s assistance is mandatory.

The Print Quality is bad. Help!

Have you checked the levels of your supplies – toners, drums, developers, etc.. Most often low supplies will cause faded, lined, or bad quality prints in general. If all supplies levels are in check, try double-checking the specs of your file against the settings or specifications of your device – this holds true most specifically for color devices. 

Why is my printer/multifunction so slow?

Check the size of your file – if you color photos and your printer is not equipped to process them quickly, the printer will slow down accordingly.  Check how many of your staff members are printing to the same device at the same time which might be causing a bottleneck. All printers/multifunction devices are not created for the same print volume. That is why studying volume before purchasing/leasing a device is very important.
