Local entrepreneurs plan to make their mark in Dayton with urban food hall
Spearheaded by local entrepreneurs Shannon Thomas and Wes Hartshorn, The Silos is a grand development at 800 E. First St. that will bring an ample amount of food and drink choices to the region. The 1.5-acre property will house a food hall with four vendors, a beer garden, and architectural styles not yet to be seen in Dayton.

Ghostlight Coffee to shutter Dayton location by end of week
Ghostlight Coffee is closing its Midtown location at 800 S. Patterson Blvd, according to a post from the company's Instagram.
"It is with a heavy heart, but one full of memories, that it is time for us to say goodbye to Ghostlight Coffee Midtown," the post said.

One of Dayton's largest country clubs to renovate historic north course
Kettering-based NCR Country Club is undertaking extensive renovations to its north course, which has remained almost unchanged since initially plotted in 1954. The upgrades to the northern 18-holes will provide a more modern element and design to the golf course, keeping in line with advances in equipment and player abilities.

Italian eatery closes downtown, next restaurant announced for same space

After spending a year in Dayton, Est! Est!! Est!!! has shuttered its downtown location in the historic Dayton Arcade, according to a sign posted at the eatery.
Taking over the space previously occupied by the Italian eatery, Table 33 Dayton is set to open at the Arcade in early fall 2024.

Springboro purchases 60-acre plot, new school may come
Springboro city council voted 5-0 at the July 18 council meeting to enter into a purchase agreement with Easton Farm Partners, LLC for the purchase of around 60 acres of land between the proposed commercial area fronting SR 741 on North Main Street and the existing homestead of the Easton Farm.
The agreement will allow for future developments in restaurants, retail, and potentially even a new school.
