Big changes are ahead at some of Tampa's most iconic shopping destinations.

Britton Plaza, a South Tampa shopping center eyed for years as a redevelopment opportunity, traded hands in November. The owners of WestShore Plaza closed on the final piece of their assemblage this year. And in Hyde Park Village, where a dramatic redevelopment has unfolded over the last decade, a developer has more plans for the heart of the property.

A Houston-based developer has closed on approximately 74 acres in Tarpon Springs and landed a $67.7 million loan to facilitate the construction of a riverfront apartment complex.

Housing supply hits four-year high as unsold homes pile up in Tampa Bay

While the number of homes for sale continues to climb in Tampa Bay, this number may be inflated, according to the latest Redfin report.

In November, the total number of homes for sale nationwide hit its highest level since 2020 on a seasonally adjusted basis, rising 0.5% from the previous month and 12.1% compared to the same period last year.

Tampa firm that plans to buy a bank snags $45M investment
