The acclaimed producer,?who has worked with the likes of the incredible Martin Scorsese, is preparing a biopic on the amazing life of Michel Petrucciani, the fascinating pianist and composer.?

The producer is coming off working on Scorsese's?Killers of the Flower Moon, after having produced another one of his acclaimed titles,?The Irishman.?The Danish producer is pursuing ambitions, always in search of the next best title, and the next best subject.?

Canal+ Docs teams up with New York-based studio to distribute an ambitious documentary

The documentary network is?partnering with FilmRise, for the distribution of Sabrina Van Tassel's?Missing From Fire Trail Road.?The ambitious and emotional title tells the story of a Native American woman who went missing in 2020 while also investigating the lack of police response when it comes to missing Indigenous women in the United States.?

?For Canal+ Docs,?this isn't the first time they've teamed up with the Award-winning director?but are looking forward to this latest professional chapter.?

Germany's The Playmakers ink a bevy of deals for their family-friendly animated title?

The Munich-based international sales company had?no issues finding its footing during this year's Marché du Film. In fact, according to Moritz Hemminger, Director of Sales & Acquisitions,?"our content is selling like hot cakes".

Their latest animated title,?Pirate Mo,?sold to several different territories,?from Turkey to the Baltics, further demonstrating the international appetite for animated works.?

Basque Audiovisuel sees renewed interest at the market thanks to their jaw-dropping tax incentive?

The leading agency promotional agency for audiovisual content hailing from the Basque Region found itself highly sought after during this year's market, linked in large part to the region's incredibly enticing tax incentive,?promising more than 50% off relevant production costs.?

Building off their success from this year's Berlinale,?where a Franco-Catalonia-Basque co-production, Estibaliz Urresola Solaguren’s?20,000 Species of Bees?was nominated for the Golden Bear, the promotional agency had a lot on their hands.?

“The United States, and France. They came to us and were asking one simple question:?how do we take advantage of this??Everybody was surprised by what we can offer,”?commented?Ione Feijoo, the agency’s Director of Marketing, Communication, and International Development.

Two major streaming platforms revealed their collaborative strategies with France's producers
