Grand Design Giving Away a Summer of Free Camping
MIDDLEBURY, Ind. – To celebrate the launch of its new Lineage Class C motorhome, Grand Design RV , a wholly owned subsidiary of Winnebago Industries (NYSE: WGO) and one of the fastest-growing RV brands known for its top-of-the-line recreational vehicles, is bringing camping to the heart of New York City this summer by offering one lucky winner the Ultimate Glamping Getaway Weekend, plus a summer filled with outdoor adventures, according to a press release.
One grand prize winner and their guest will have the opportunity to indulge in a glamping-inspired weekend in NYC, hosted by Grand Design RV, while getting to explore the new Lineage Class C motorhome and other Grand Design recreational vehicles at a first-of-its kind, immersive glamping experience on June 22. In addition, Grand Design RV will cover the winner’s campsite fees at national and state parks all summer long and provide a gift basket loaded with glamping amenities to use during their summer camping excursions.
Selected at random, the winner will receive a roundtrip getaway to New York on the first weekend of summer (June 21–23) covering airfare for two, a $1,500 spending stipend to explore the city, and two nights’ accommodations. Nestled in the iconic greenery of Bryant Park in Midtown Manhattan, the event will feature camping-inspired activities, s’mores delicacies from a local bakery, music provided by a local artist, and the chance to tour the vehicles firsthand.
Heartland RV Intros Corterra 3.7 with Loft, 2nd Bedroom
HART, Ind. – Heartland RV’s Corterra 3.7 is the latest addition to the crowd- pleasing new fifth-wheel brand, which debuted at the end of 2023. The spacious, innovative Corterra lineup stands out from the competition with luxurious features that make it as comfortable as it is functional, according to a release from the THOR Industries subsidiary.
Corterra 3.7 can sleep up to eight guests across the floorplan with distinct home areas, including a mid-bunk room, a loft, a main bedroom suite, and a kitchen. It measures 41 feet, 10? inches long with 390 square feet of interior space, making it currently the largest of all the Corterra models.
Corterra 3.7 weighs 12,823 pounds dry with a gross vehicle weight rating of 15,000 pounds. It houses a 98-gallon fresh water tank, 57-gallon black and two 57-gallon gray tanks onboard. The defining feature distinguishing Corterra from other RV models is the expansive tinted window installed in the front cap that gives breathtaking panoramic views from inside the bedroom.
U.S. Trade Rep Shares Results of 4-Year China Tariffs Review
The Office of the United States Trade Representative?announced?on May 14 the results of its?four-year review?of?tariff actions taken against China?under Section 301 in a 193- page report found?here, according to a News & Insights report by the RV Industry Association (RVIA).?
The announcement does not provide any clarity on whether the Office of the US Trade Representative will further extend existing Section 301 China product exclusions that are set to expire on May 31.
