RV Media Vet Chris Cieto Joins RVB as Chief Sales Officer

ELKHART, Ind. – G&G Media Group LLC, publishers of?RVBusiness?and?Woodall’s Campground Magazine, announce the addition of Chris Cieto as the company’s chief sales officer. Cieto, who previously had been the associate publisher of?RV Pro?magazine, will begin his position with G&G Media on July 31.

“We are very pleased to have Chris join our team,” Rick Kessler and Scott Stropkai, G&G Media partners, said in a joint statement. “When we spoke with others in the industry about Chris, the terms ‘professionalism’ and ‘integrity’ were continuously mentioned. RVB’s Capitol Talk: FMCA Celebrates 60th Anniversary

CINCINNATI, Ohio?–?The year was 1963. Families had begun to discover a convenient new way to vacation, according to a release from the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) marking its 60th year.

Pioneering folks purchased buses that had been decommissioned from their original roles of transporting schoolchildren or other passengers and then outfitted them as rolling homes. Many called them “house cars.” Production motor coaches were just coming into being then. Not everyone was a fan of the newfangled traveling machines, though, and these inventive families sometimes faced resistance in the communities they visited.


RVIA Releases Report on the Need For EV Chargers

FAIRFAX, Va. – The RV Industry Association (RVIA) has partnered with global engineering firm Black and Veatch to release a?report and financial analysis?that makes the case for federal funding to be used to install pull-through electric vehicle charging stations to meet the needs of RVers today and well into the future, according to an RVIA News and Insights article.
