Top podcasts to listen to in 2023

Today I want to share with you some podcasts I enjoy listening to. I've been a huge podcast fan ever since I got into listening to them around 7 years ago. I listen to podcasts while commuting, exercising, cleaning, or just pottering around. I love it as a short form of content to get actionable insights. It’s one of the reasons I started my own podcast, Happier at Work.

I’m breaking down the podcast lists into their relevant parts. I listen to podcasts for entrepreneurs, personal development, HR and general business. It may come as no surprise that the podcasts I regularly listen to and recommend fall largely into three buckets: HR, work life, personal development.

What did come as a surprise to me while compiling this list was just how many podcasts I listen to! I listen on Apple generally (though sometimes I have issues with that and lose my list of ~100 episodes I had lined up!) and currently have upped my listening speed to 2x so that I can listen to twice as many as before.?

If you have any tips on how best to manage the sheer number of podcasts, please share them! I created a “recommended episodes” list for my podcast a few months ago, if you haven’t listened yet and are wondering where to start. I have conveniently broken it down by category. Get it here.

There are so many other podcasts out there that I would’ve loved to include, but the list became too long and unwieldy - I sense a follow up coming!

This will be my last Newsletter til the New Year. I hope you have been enjoying what I’ve been putting out there. If there’s anything in particular you’d like to learn more about, I’d love to know! Thanks to everyone who has commented and shared feedback with me on the newsletter, it is much appreciated!

Did you know you can get the Happier at Work email newsletter directly into your inbox (not to be confused with this LinkedIn newsletter!) - weekly podcast updates and insights on happiness at work, including practical tips and action prompts. Sign up to the Happier at Work email newsletter here.
