Held at the old Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit back in 1987, the main event pitted Hulk Hogan against Andre the Giant. Over 93,000 people packed in to record what was then the largest recorded attendance of a live indoor event. With over 1 million people watching around the world, this event was MONSTER.

The world was waiting in anticipation to see how a UFC and MMA fighter would do in a traditional boxing ring…but this wasn’t a caged octagon, and Money Mayweather took care of business as he always did. Over 4 million people bought pay-per-view access to the fight making it one of the most-watched and most profitable fights in history.

Mike Tyson battled Evander Holyfield back in the 90s where millions of people paid to watch Tyson bite off a piece of Holyfield’s ear. The fight was brought to quick halt even though it raked in $100 million with 1.9 million pay-per-view buys.

If there is anything that I know about Grant Cardone’s work ethic is that he’s going to try to be at the top of that list, but if it’s anything that I know about my work ethic is that I’ll try to be a speaker at one of those events one day. Gotta keep pushing!
