Top paid CFOs?

Based on the latest SEC filings these are the highest paid 20 CFOs in corporate America. (Some of the companies will surprise you).

Leading the pack is Joe Berchtold of entertainment group LiveNation who got 52.4M compensation (Berchtold’s compensation also includes perks such as $38,585worth of “tickets to certain sporting industry events). Nice work if you can get it.

Second-placed Michael J Cavanagh of NBC Universal-owned Comcast generated $41m in compensation in 2022.(In 2023 Cavanagh passed the CFO role onto Jason S. Armstrong after Cavanagh wasnamed president of the company). Most CFOs in the top 20 highest pay brackets run finance at brand names such as Walmart, Appleand Intel. But other CFOs are seeing the money roll in with a top 20 involving? less eye-catching companies

??Jeffrey Lee CFO at Cornerstone Building Brands entered the top20 highest paid CFOs hitting $18m in compensation by virtue of a483% increase year-over year.

??Cameron Hyzer at Zoom info, which provides specialized lead information for businesses, achieved $18m (despite a 77% decrease from the previous year)

??Rich Bressler at iHeartmedia also got to $15.5m compensation (a 103% increase fromthe previous year)

?? Gianluca Romano of Seagate Technology ($15m) after a 156% increase.
