Bitcoin drops below $20,000 as crypto meltdown continues

Bitcoin plunged nearly 10% in less than 24 hours, adding to a series of sustained losses over the last several months . It now sits below $20,000 for the first time since November 2020, down more than 70% from an all-time high of $68,000 per coin in November 2021. B itcoin has lost $900 billion in value since that peak.

Ether is also experiencing a so-called crypto winter . The second-largest digital token plummeted 10% on Saturday to $975, its lowest level since January 2021. The coin has lost 80% of its value from its record high last November.

The massive crypto meltdown is part of a larger market downturn brought on by elevated inflation, rising interest rates, war in Ukraine, Covid lockdowns and supply chain chaos.

The Metaverse: The New Technology Revolution

Zuckerberg addressed this in his Oct. 28, 2021 Founder’s letter (when he rebranded to Meta), stating, “The defining quality of the metaverse will be a feeling of presence—like you are right there with another person or in another place. Feeling truly present with another person is the ultimate dream of social technology… In the metaverse, we will be able to do almost anything you can imagine—get together with friends and family, work, learn, play, shop, create—as well as have completely new experiences that don’t really fit how we think about computers or phones today.”

Emergent Games Launches Prologue Game for Resurgence and ‘Invite Only’ Drop of Gen 0 Cryotag NFT

Emergent Games will also be launching a range of 1000 limited edition Resurgence Cryotag NFTs, offered exclusively via an invite-only free mint. A limited number of Cryotags will also be available through playing The End. Players need to register for the Resurgence newsletter to enter the competition.

The End?will be followed by key Resurgence world-building game drops, including a mobile app and a single-player game, before the MMO phase of?Resurgence?in 2024.?

Emergent Games formed earlier this year, with a promise to attract 2.7bn gamers through a ‘game first’ motto underpinned by a ‘free to play’ and ‘choose to own' ecosystem. It is a joint venture between London-based digital entertainment studio Maze Theory and crypto technology and operations business Pluto Digital, who invested $7.6m as part of the deal.?

Our journey has just started and we have so much more to Lion forward to. The best part of the journey has been working together as a family and helping others come together during the pandemic.

We host virtual events using a unique mix of music, games, and hosting to help bring people together while apart.

What about Metaverse are you most excited for in the future?

We are excited that we can connect with millions of people around the world. These people would be able to enjoy our entertainment services as they enjoy games and music. We love people and bring people joy. The metaverse allows us to interact with people from all over the world and connect with new people.

Why should we be paying attention to the Metaverse?

Metaverse is the next big thing and we see it as the future of entertainment. Imagine dancing, having a drink, and socializing with friends all from the comfort of your home. While the world becomes even more disconnected this creates an opportunity to maintain that connection. Some see the metaverse as a medium that will further pull us apart but we see it as something that can pull us together because space and time become limitless. This can be a whole new way to show the Productions skills of 3csproductions. Our goal is to create experiences and bring people together; the metaverse presents a new way to do just that.
