SEO is becoming more technical and theoretical year after year, and if we look back a few years ago we will see that SEO was very easy and anyone could rank a website on Google 1st page easily - on his desired keyword after posting a high number of links through bookmarking, directory submissions, classifieds and other ways. But SEO has totally changed now and the practice of creating hundreds of back links with these sites does not work to rank a website or increasing relevant traffic.

In 2015, SEO experts have developed numerous new legitimate ways to create back links and to implement different link building strategies that can be trusted to drive thousands of traffic to the website. There is no room for Black hat techniques anymore and while these techniques of link building were appreciated for their quick results, they have proven to be harmful after Google’s Panda & Penguin updates.

First, you just need to create your profile on Reddit and find out your relevant niche in the list of Sub-Reddits. But, carefully read their submission rules because some categories don’t accept direct links or promotional links; they only accept text. A better way is to make a worthy profile on Reddit first - by discussing multiple topics or various Sub-Reddits to increase your KARMAs.

Reddit is an effective tool to get links and to maximize your traffic, but be cautious because any misuse of Reddit will result in a ban.

Quora:

Quora is similar to the Yahoo Answers community. It is an exchange platform for question and answers, and can serve as an ideal launch pad to build your website authority and to engage in relationship building by answering questions.

There are many professionals and experts of different niches who answer questions and engage in in-depth discussions. Quora also helps you to increase your website visibility because pages get indexed quickly by search engines.
