Medical Supplies Market to Surpass $206 Billion by 2030!
I am often surprised to hear some MedTech leaders opine on how the industry is getting tougher. Suffice it to say, yes it is. In all industries, competition forces companies to innovate in order to thrive and survive.
That said, few industries have both the impact on improving human life and the opportunity for growth that MedTech does. There is also a challenge here that all MedTech and High-Tech leaders face. That issue is talent, so when thinking about how your organization will handle talent during what may be turbulent times near term, keep an eye on the longer term.

"Don't wait to do something."
Many of you may have seen the heroic performance of amateur Sam Bennett at the Master's this weekend. The first amateur to finish in the top 20 since 2005. But the real story was the one of his tattoo.
"Don't wait to do something" were the last words written by his late father as he struggled with Alzheimer's disease. Now, these words are a reminder to him every time he takes a shot to be intentional and not shy away from what he's trying to do.
There's a lesson there for all of us. Face your fears, be intentional and get after it. In short, "Don't wait to do something".
Thank you?#sambennett, for sharing this deeply inspiring message with all of us!

Heaven or Hell?
Here's a funny yet teachable tale to end the week on.
A woman dies and is met by St. Peter and Satan at the Pearly Gates.? She’s confused and asks what is going on. ?St. Peter responds “We’ve had some complaints, so we are trying something different.? You will spend one day in heaven and the next day in hell.? At the end of the two days, you get to decide where to spend eternity.”
Day one, she is in heaven, and everything is as you would expect.? The sun is shining as she floats on a cloud while harps play gently in the background.? It is all very nice and soothing.
Day two, she is in hell.? All her friends are there. ?There’s a party with great music playing.?Amazing food and drinks are everywhere. ?There’s beach volleyball.?This place is a blast!
End of day two, she is once again met by St. Peter and Satan.?Satan asks “Well, what do you think?”? The woman responds “Heaven was very nice, but hell was a blast.? I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I want to spend eternity in hell.”
In a flash, she and Satan are returned to hell.? There’s fire and brimstone.? Whaling and gnashing of teeth.? Imps and demons are everywhere!? As she’s being tortured, she screams to Satan “What happened?”.? Satan turns to her and says “Yesterday you were a recruit, today you are staff!”.
When thinking about employment branding the internal experience needs to match what the company says it is externally.? Great candidates reach out to me all the time saying that the company and/or the role are not what was portrayed during the interview process.? Thus, they are actively looking for a new job.
There may be no Glass Door for the afterlife but there certainly is one here.
