Can you recommend a Top #CommercialAgency for me?

I get this #castingdirector question a lot. Or some variation of it.

The first and best thing for you to do, in my opinion is to have a strong reel. Then do your research on the different agencies that are accepting new talent.

Their needs frequently change. You have to check their websites, follow them on social media (wherever they are active), and meet people that they represent and get in their inner circle.

Although I may know you as a connection on #LinkedIn, if I've never worked with you personally

how could I recommend you?

I don't know you closely, and you’re asking me to put my reputation on the line.

Of course I'd love to send you suggestions, but I'd just be shooting blindly.?You can do a quick search on line for "top commercial agents in #LosAngeles" or any other city, and see what comes up.

I wish I could be more helpful, but it really does change frequently enough in terms of who's open and what their needs are. I myself can’t keep up with it. Every time I need talent, I go to some of the same agencies I’ve worked with before. But I also go to NEW ones that I’ve never worked with before, because I always want to see new and different talent, based on the project’s needs.

And on most projects, I end up seeing many #talent that don’t have representation.
