Top 9 Signs Of A Toxic WorkPlace

Top 9 Signs Of A Toxic WorkPlace

The Top 9 Signs That Your Work Environment Is Toxic.

Number One: Your input isn't valued. Whenever you speak or express an opinion about something, you are not really listened to. They rebuff it, dismiss it, and move on.

Number Two: Office gossip and rumors run wild. As opposed to a professional workplace, your workplace resembles a high school where people endlessly talk about each other behind their backs, spread rumors about one another behind their backs and wield guns.

Number Three: Bullying. Different types of bullying exist. Different types of bullying exist, such as physical abuse and verbal abuse.

Either they are overly aggressive, which uses aggression, physicality, and intimidation, or they are passive aggressive, which uses more psychology. They want you to do what they want by bullying you, which then affects your mental health.

Number Four: Narcissistic Leadership.

Having a narcissistic leader or narcissistic leadership team. It's all about self-interest, it's lacking compassion, it lacks empathy, and it's going to foster a toxic working environment.

Number Five: Communication Lines & Transparency.

Poor communication lines and a lack of transparency are common in toxic work environments.

In the best working environments, transparency and open communication foster mutual trust. Without that, trust breaks down. People start looking elsewhere when there is a disconnect.

Number 6: Low Morale.

You work in teams that are uninspired and unmotivated.

People are not motivated because they do not feel valued financially or professionally, and that leads them to look elsewhere.

Number Seven: Unfair Working Policies.

Therefore, you have working policies that don't seem to have any basis, or if they do, they're not enforced.

In addition, there appears to be a sense of favoritism between some and others. The set of conduct that applies to everyone is not balanced.?

Number Eight. Work Life Balance. What Work, What Life, What Balance?

The people around you are asking you to do more, but they are giving you less.

If you could come earlier and stay later, that would be great. The implicit pressure is also there and if you don't, you know where the exit door is if you don't.

Number 9. Burnout

The company expects more and more from its employees, but is letting them go. They put more and more pressure on their staff to do more and more workload, but yet there's not enough of you to go around to do it, which yields burnout.

So watch out for these signs and if I've missed out any of them, put down your suggestions in the comments and let's have the debate.
