Researchers used a method called "imitation learning" to train the da Vinci Surgical System robot to perform three fundamental tasks required in surgical procedures: manipulating a needle, lifting body tissue, and suturing.

There was also an important announcement about Forward Health, that raised $400 million and reached a $1 billion valuation operating AI-powered “doctor in a box” healthcare stations, shutting down. I described a year ago why the company's idea went against the digital health paradigm shift.
