The video above showcases the best premium plugins website owners should be using.
Over the years, WordPress has Democratized the process in which news gets disseminated around the world. It used to be that news was only delivered by large publications with the attention of everyone watching TV, listening to the radio or reading a newspaper.
The only people who had a website were these same large organizations with deep pockets. Websites would cost literal fortunes to create. But then in 2003, WordPress came on the seen. Initially it was just a blogging platform, but over the years, WordPress evolved into what many consider the best and most feature rich Content Management System aka CMS.
WordPress powers over 28% of the modern web. How did this humble blogging software achieve such stellar reach? It was actually very easy to see why it became so popular.
WordPress is Free & Open Source Software. People and businesses alike use it and have 100% complete ownership over their website. This is in contrast to some other solutions that maintain control over their customers website to the extent that the question of who actually owns the site can easily be answered by highlighting who has the most control over it.
In the video above, I showcase what I consider to be the best of the best in terms of Premium WordPress Plugins. I can confidently stand by each plugin since I have been Designing, Developing and Consulting, people and businesses on WordPress Powered Websites.
I personally use each plugin and use them on all of my clients websites. I decided early on to make a huge investment into each plugin so I can provide them to my clients at no extra charge and they get updates right in their website dashboards.
Here's the list:
- iThemes Security Pro - is one of the most well known names in the WordPress Security Category. While they do have a free version, the pro version provides some amazing security features.
- BackUpBuddy - every website needs a good backup solution. BackUpBuddy puts your website backup strategy on auto pilot. It is by far the most powerful and full featured backup solution for WordPress with more useful features than I can share in one article. Long story short, it automates the backup process and enables you to store the backups in places like Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon S3 and other locations.
- OptinMonster - as a blogger, business or digital content marketer, one of the most important things your website should do, is cultivate online leads. A person visiting your website and sharing their name and email can be considered a warm lead that can be nurtured to become a hot lead. OptinMonster helps in this area.
- Soliloquy Slider - this is the best slider plugin for WordPress. It has some really cool features, like the Instagram Add-on, Pinterest Add-on, Featured Content Add-on and more. You can make some amazing sliders with this plugin.
- Envira Gallery - is the best image gallery plugin. It has a lot of useful features to showcase your images in the best possible way while not compromising on performance. Just like Soliloquy, Envira is feature rich and can be extended with add-ons for Instagram, Pinterest and more.
- Gravity Forms - this plugin needs no introduction. It is known as the best form generator for WordPress, period. It is feature rich and can be used with some of the most widely used third party solutions like Mailchimp and others.
So how much do all these plugins cost?
These plugins are investments with varying prices. On the low end with basic functionality, the whole lot would cost $355 upfront and a yearly licensing fee. On the high end the pricetag jumps to $1,270 and an ongoing yearly fee.
I believe it's worth it. But as I mentioned earlier, I made a large investment in these plugins and I hold the proper licenses to install these plugins plus all their premium add-ons on an unlimited number of websites which include my clients websites. The best part, all updates are handled right in the website dashboard like any other plugin. These are lifetime updates with no yearly fees.
So How Much Do I Charge?
I normally charge $500 for a Premium WordPress Website Setup but for the summer, I have a discounted price of just $300. This also includes a Premium Theme. The price is definitely right.
You also get the benefit of having a WordPress Designer, Developer and Consultant with years of experience, setting everything up.
While the links above are affiliate links which help me keep the lights on or as James Braddock said before his big fight "I do it for the Milk", I only recommend the plugins and tools that I personally use.
So watch the video, share your thoughts and either purchase the plugins directly or let me hook you up with an Amazing Website powered by the number one CMS and some of the best Premium WordPress Plugins.
