Top 5 ways to maximise Christmas

Can you believe that it is nearly Christmas?
This year is different for many of us. I will not be seeing my children as they are in the UK and I do not wish to self isolate for two weeks. My mum sadly passed away in April so this will also be my first Christmas as an orphan - bit dramatic at 55 but still feels very raw!
But regardless of the personal challenges, we are facing, Christmas is a critical time of year so what can you do to make sure that you have the best Christmas ever...sales wise?
Here's my 5 top tips:
1. Enterprise Nation Christmas Market - the guys at Enterprise nation have created a FREE online event whereby you can have two days of chatting to business owners, finding Christmas presents for yourself and creating your own sales booth. Food and drink will be popular and the places are limited so please check it out (https://www.enterprisenation.com/find-something/gifted-the-small-business-christmas-market) and boost your sales! And remember its free!
2. Bundles - whilst most retailers have got their offers in place, there is still space to create Christmas bundles online to bring your clients in. Pure Heavenly have launched a great selection box which is perfect to get people to try their products but also as a great gift - check it out. They have taken a simple postage box, made it pretty and then bundled in some products - so successful that currently sold out alot of the flavours!
3. Hampers - I think hampers are going to be big business this year as people are not together and want to buy something special. Plus they are a fantastic way of collaborating with other brands enabling you to maximise your social media presence - check out the amazing Tom Savano luxury hampers (https://tomsavano.com/savexmas) as a great example of how to get it right - fantastic photography, high end luxury products in line with the branding and lots of mutual social media support
4. Social media engagement - ensure you are talking to your customers and building stories and engagement that encourage people to buy your products in the run up to Christmas not forgetting Black Friday of course! Don't think its all about selling - you could do a great piece on gifting suggestions/how to use your products at Christmas but make it broader than that and include some other brands so that its more of a blog (and you get all those collaboration opportunities again).
5. Janet Murray Christmas Market – some of you who have done my courses or attended my webinars will know that I am a massive fan of Janet Murray. She has a great Christmas market coming up and the closing date is tomorrow to apply to be included – its £100 as an existing customer or more as a one off but you get membership of her annual build your online audience – worth having a look at here - https://www.janetmurray.co.uk/online-christmas-market/
So get stuck in and make the most of the season! Only 5 weeks to go and gotta sell some more stuff or build those important relationships for 2021!
