Today I’d like to share with you my top 5 tips for succeeding in Social media marketing -? from what I have learned from personal experience so far.
This advice will help Business Marketers as well as Personal Branding enthusiasts.
Here we go:
No. 1 - Brand representation: Before you start marketing your product or services on social media, know what your brand stands for. Answer these questions: Who is the right audience for my messages on social media? What social media platforms or maybe only one platform is the best for this brand? What types of content could be interesting for my audience and how to bring value with my content?
In B2C industries, marketers find Facebook (85%) and Instagram (78%) to be the most useful for their business.
For B2B industries, 87% of marketers consider LinkedIn to be the most effective platform. - Hootsuite. Social Trends 2021 Survey
No. 2 - Plan in detail: I would highly advise to have a monthly detailed plan of actions, content structure and creatives -? worked out beforehand. It helps you to easily post planned content and to stay consistent.?

No. 3 - Relevance: Content has to be relevant based on the type of the social media channel you are using (i.e. Instagram and Fb are great for entertainment type of content but not only, whereas LinkedIn is great for business and expert advice type of content); You can find your inspiration following your competitors and industry leaders pages for content ideas.
No. 4 - Call to action: Before you share any post on social media ask yourself: “What is your Call to Action?” Do you want simply more engagement? - ask people to like, comment or re-share the post. Or are you aiming for people to subscribe or purchase something from you? - ask people to click the link, buy now, subscribe etc. Make your call to action clear and obvious.
No. 5 - Frequent analysis: Try to understand what content and why it gets you more audience - and then simply deliver more of the same type of content. Also remember that if you have old content to share it doesn’t mean it is irrelevant. Right information can be shared again grabbing the attention of new audiences.?
