As the year winds down, the time for Top Songs is finally upon us. What songs moved you this year? Did you listen to a lyric and thought: gosh I wish I could write like that? Songwriting is an art increasingly getting lost in the clutter. Turn on a radio station. No, I meant “stream” a song and what do you hear?

Nothing against iTunes but it’s beginning to look and feel like the old brick and mortar record store. I want to feel the authenticity please.
