1. Tell me about yourself

It's not that hard to talk about myself, right? Keep in mind that recruiters are not interested in your hobbies, childhood trauma, or where you plan to travel this year. They want to hear a pitch! You will most likely be asked this question at the beginning of the interview, and it's your chance to introduce yourself. Remember to tailor your "pitch" so it's relevant to the role you have applied for.?

2. Why do you want this position?

When the interviewer asks you this question, they want to find out if you have researched the company, how this role fits into your long-term career goals, and why the company appeals to you. It is your chance to sell yourself and show your hunger and passion for the role!

A good answer is not "Well, I am very passionate about being able to pay my bills" or "I need the money."?Your passion needs to shine through here; your interviewer will feel it when they talk to you. When someone is passionate, you can almost see their "glow."?

"In my next career move, I want to find a role to help me grow my leadership skills. I saw your job ad on LinkedIn, and it immediately stood out because one of the primary responsibilities mentions leading a dynamic and international team across three countries. I have experience doing this from my current employer for the past two years, but now I want to try something new and lead a bigger team for a more stable company with a strong vision like yours. This will help me grow further as a manager, and since I have a lot of experience managing teams, I will have a short learning curve. Your company values match what I am looking for in an employer. That is why I want this position."

3. What are your biggest strengths?

Should you be honest and give examples of your strengths, or should you answer what the interviewer wants to hear? Go with the first option! Pick up to 3 strengths relevant to the role you've applied to and mention skills that will help you succeed in this role.?

"My biggest strength is that I am a quick learner. You instinctively don't want to mention your flaws, so this can be a tricky question to get right. Remember that the interviewer is not expecting you to be perfect; everyone has weaknesses and shortcomings. When the interviewer asks this question, they want to know if your skills match the role. For instance, if you are applying for a job in sales and you mention that you don't like to work under pressure or in fast-paced environments, you're most likely not getting that job.. Mention a real weakness, and also mention how you try to overcome that weakness.?
