(?? TOP-5) App-Based Chores Management

(?? TOP-5) App-Based Chores Management

Financial planning is just another habit?that we need to teach and practice together with our kids.

I know it seems very boring and requires lots of energy.

?? A great idea is to use engaging bright apps that are already designed and have necessary features automated.

My TOP-5:

  1. Roosters Money (Use from 3 years +)

There are a reward chart, a function to create a list of chores, set financial goals for kids to work towards, and sort pocket money. There is even a photo proof!

To motivate, you can award kids either with money or stars in the app.

Also, NatWest Rooster Money makes it easy to keep track of your kids’ virtual allowance, spending, and saving.

It starts with good habits but comes to financial literacy with a great level of determination. Especially what I like is with the app kids learn to consider what they should do with their money.?

2. AdVenture Capitalist (Use from 8 years +)

It is an app that simulates #capitalism. With a given Lemonade Stand, players build a business, so when there is enough money, the opportunity arises to buy a newspaper stand. Soon it is necessary to hire managers.?

This is a big opportunity to teach kids about #investing and #compounding.?

It is a safe game for kids, but it is a pretty passive game.?

? Note: there are in-app purchases to help impatient players make more money quickly, so make sure your children won't use it with no allowance.

  • The debit card of their own
  • Earnings for being hard-working
  • Investing for the family
  • Chores & Allowance

4. Bankaroo (Use from 4 years +)

The virtual bank for kids is designed by an 11-year-old that helps deal with allowance, gifts, and chore money. Kids can manage their personal finances with this virtual bank account which is not real.

Children easily can ??? track their expenses, ?? set goals, and ?? get cool badges as rewards.

? Unfortunately, they have paused the option to add new family accounts, and all accounts will be closed by Oct 2023 ?

5. BusyKid (Use from 5 years +)

?? The app gives children real-world experience in managing money.

At its core, BusyKid is a chore and allowance app that can be preset by the age of the child. Parents assign chores and allowances for their kids to earn. Funds get transferred to your kid's account. It also comes with a prepaid debit card for your child.

Your kid can access funds in the Spend section of their account with this basic Visa debit card. The cards can't be used for ATM withdrawals.

Choose the app that fits your family's needs and interface preferences.

?? Enjoy the upcoming weekend!

Let me know if you have ever used an app for managing chores.
