Product features on your website are an important component of your sales strategy, but if customers can’t find your product features on your website, they won’t be able to buy the product.??
Here are 3 tips to ensure that your product features are structured so they get more sales faster with less hassle.
What Is A Product Feature?
A feature is a property of your product that allows it to stand out from similar products. It's an aspect that makes your product different or appealing in some way. Features are often the difference between something being just functional and also being enjoyable and comfortable to use, wear, own.
The features of any product are the functional abilities it has, which can be changed in new versions. For example, you see this in the material of yoga pants made to look like jeans, or work slacks so that women and men can go straight from work to yoga without having to change. A feature that turns itself into a benefit.
How Features Can Fall Flat
Some features have become so commonplace that they're no longer unique. Touchscreens on mobile devices, for example, don't scream "we have something you don't!" anymore. They just scream "we have a touchscreen."
What Makes Your Product Unique?
If your product offers only the best features in the industry, compare products on more than just features. Even if your company bases their selling strategy on impressive product features, make sure that you also address how a customer would use those features when making their decision; what makes you unique that they'll buy you over the competition?
Top 3 Strategies for Making Your Product Features Fabulous
Partner with Influencers
Partner with third-party influencers who can promote your product (or parts of it) and lend their credibility to your brand. Include testimonials or quotes from them on your site to boost trust, and consider offering them affiliate links as well. Giving them a bigger percentage up front gives them reason to promote your brand first to their big audience.
Focus on the Benefit
While writing features is easier, writing about benefits requires some extra effort. If you're frequently on top of your customers' needs, it will be easier to write about them. By reading reviews and testimonials, you can find out what your customers want and what they love about doing business or buying from you. If you're new to the arena, check out competitor's reviews on Amazon, there are a ton of ways to use Amazon as a search engine to write about your benefits by using your competition's reviews.

Make it Simple and Get To The Point
Most of your customers are busy, so they'll skip over most of the text on your site and won't read the most important parts that you spent hours laboring over. Your job is to use headlines, bullet points, and short paragraphs to get your message across while still providing enough detail. Remember, write for a third grader...yep, that's the level of people's attention span.
Speaking of getting to the point, I should really wrap this up.
The most common ways people make decisions is by comparing features and benefits.???The easiest way to compensate for a missing feature is to explain its benefit well enough to make people see why they should want it. It's not easy and most people think they should start with some website that no one will ever traverse or spend the time looking at or reading. Trust me, I've built enough of them.
Instead, think about how simple you can make your pitch and what the most important BENEFITS are that will make their life easier, give them more time, make them tons of money (for real), or solve their most important problem in their life.
