TOP 3 REASONS WHY YOU WON'T GET HIRED DESPITE YOUR EXPERIENCE

I have been hiring and helping companies hire since 2019 or so. My recent hiring experience made me understand a lot more about hiring. I sincerely empathize with those who apply to jobs, don't get selected, and won't get any feedback. Honestly, that may be unfair for Hiring Managers to do for every candidate.?
But sadly, even people with relevant experience could get rejected at the first stage without any interviews or feedback.?
So today, if you apply to jobs you have some experience in and get rejected from the first stage with obviously no interview or feedback, I have identified three possible reasons.?
But first, if you don't have as much experience for a position and find it difficult to get a job, I prepared a complete step-by-step guide to help you land a job this year. Use the link to get it here: https://donald.meckanzy.com/how-to-secure-tech-job-with-no-experience/. Also suitable for entry-level.
Back to the three reasons why you may not get hired although you have some work experience:
1. Communication
You have not communicated your experience properly through your CV, portfolio, cover letter and other documents. A lot of us don't measure our work, we just work.?
Whole books are dedicated to measurement, explaining concepts like 'Objectives and Key Results'. You can read these books, but here's the short and crucial version.?
You need to measure RELEVANT and specific outputs from your work. Saying you completed a task isn't enough. It is often called accomplishments. It must be in number (23, 35, e.t.c) or a percentage (9%, 17%, e.t.c).?
Your CV, portfolio, and cover letter should contain these accomplishments.?
I built a free tool to help you measure your work. It will also help communicate it with the employer. You can access it here: https://resume.meckanzy.com.

2. You might not be what they're looking for
Let's face it, an average job gets close to 400 applications. Some people will be better experienced and more knowledgeable than you. Sometimes, other people may fit into the company's culture easily. They somehow managed to communicate this from the start.?
You should consistently improvement. I can help you move from not being selected among applicants to having employers or hiring managers reach you directly.?
Look at the screenshot above. That's from a real person and a real company. You can verify.?
Here's another one.?

3. It could be an oversight
That's another possibility. Hiring managers typically spend 5 seconds on a candidate's application before making a decision. There's room for error. However, if this has consistently been your experience, it couldn't always have been a mistake.?
Work on these things I mentioned above and keep applying to relevant job opportunities, and soon you'll land your dream job.?
Thank you for reading.?
