There are in fact, 2 Everest Base Camps, of course, one in Nepal while the other one is in Tibet, China. While it’s easy to get access to China’s side via road, for Nepal’s base camp, you have to go through 7+ days of interesting walks to get to it unless of course, you take a helicopter ride to the base camp straight (altitude problem won’t let you stop there for more than an hour).
