Top 13 Questions to Save Big when purchasing your next real estate deal :
1. When did it trade last?
2. How much did it trade for?
3. What would you rate the location on a scale from 1 to 10?
4. What is the debt you are underwriting for the property?
5. What do you like most about the property?
6. What do you like least about it?
7. What else do you have that is either listed or off-market?
8. Other than price what terms motivated the seller?
9. Who is the buyer for the deal?
10 How many people do you think will shop for this deal?
11 Do you have a favorite buyer at this time?
12 How do I exit this deal?
13 What's the play here on this deal?
Don’t think that these are the only questions to ask a broker, but it’s a great list to start with. Buying multi-family real estate is not easy.
