If you are anything like me, you will have discovered how convenient and informative podcasts can be.
Unlike a lot of other information on the internet, podcasts can be a great source of information direct from the mouth of an expert.
Even better, because podcasts are audio, you can listen to them in the background while doing something else, like commuting, doing housework or just walking.
Nowadays, there are even a few great podcasts about creativity.
Here is a list of the best podcasts about creativity, being a professional creative and becoming more creative:
With more than 150 episodes, this podcast seeks to highlight the science of what makes ideas work, by interviewing researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs and innovators about what it takes to understand creativity, how it works and how to use it to make your business innovations more successful.
I am the host of this podcast, but with over 150 episodes interviewing the world’s most respected thought leaders on Creativity research and innovation, there are insights here that you will not find anywhere else.
Interviews are very conversational, highlighting the background and history of each guest, as well as the big insights they have on becoming more creative and doing more with your ideas.
If you are looking for a podcast on the science of creativity, this is the best one.

I have followed Todd Henry and the Accidental Creative podcast for many years, and it is one of the most informative and varied podcasts out there for anyone trying to develop their own creativity.
I previously interviewed Todd about his book the Motivation Code, but he has authored a multitude of books about developing creative habits including Die Empty, Herding Tigers and Louder than Words.

Brian Koppelman has a long and storied career in Hollywood as a showrunner.
He interviews a variety of stars and professionals about the pivotal moments that fueled their fascinating creative careers.
I have to admit, I am a big fan of Conan O’Brien. After making a name for himself as a writer on Saturday Night Live and the Simpsons, he has been a mainstay of the late night American Talkshow comedy circuit for several decades.
But apparently, he is so unpopular that he needs to invite people from Hollywood on to his Podcast in order to speak with them, and try to become their friend. Or so goes the premise of this podcast.
In reality, Conan and his team talk with a variety of stars and professionals from the Media, including Hollywood actors, comedians and producers of popular shows. He also speaks with fans.
While not just a show about creativity, you will learn a lot about the creative process from these in-depth discussions about what it takes to make it as a creative professional.
