Step 1: Starting the client relationship on the right foot??
Before diving into the technical aspects of cash flow and profitability, prioritise understanding the client's business and objectives. In the onboarding process, ask questions that reveal the purpose or emotional reasons behind why a client chose to become a business owner.??

Step 4: Pulling 'business levers' in Goalseek???
The Goalseek tool in Fathom is a game-changer. Clients can set a financial goal, such as achieving positive cash flow, and advisors can use the Goalseek dashboard to show clients the levers they can push to reach that goal.
This interactive dialogue creates a deeper understanding of the financial implications of different decisions.???
Step 5: Analysing the impact of various strategies??
Use Fathom's Goalseek dashboard to walk clients through different strategies to increase cash flow. For example, while selling more stock might seem like an intuitive solution, Goalseek reveals that without addressing other factors, it could lead to negative outcomes.
Instead, focusing on improving margins, raising prices, optimising inventory, and reducing accounts receivable could have a more significant positive impact on cash flow.??

1 年This was perhaps the BEST presentation on how to lead with value I have seen to date. It really doesn't get much better than how to close higher paying clients even before you have all their accounting info. Geni uses a combination of a consultative close backed by Fathom's GoalSeekerer tool. Definitely a masterclass in itself.
