How do you usually start your morning? Maybe you plan your day ahead while grabbing a cup of joe. Or to some extend you drink 20 ounces of water – and a light breakfast – that’s it. You then get ready to go to the office, right?

Have you ever thought of doing 10 productive things soon after you wake up? Imagine for a while – if you go with these fruitful things…you will never feel exhausted or tired the whole day – trust me.

Let’s jump on to and not make you wait anymore. So here are 10 things you can do every morning before 9.00 am and make your day inspiring and joyous.

1.                 Drinking water

Would you believe that the most successful people start their morning by drinking 24 ounces of water on average? Yes – you should.

Joseph Summers who is a health and fitness enthusiast and a founder of Media Monsoon, says that 70% of the human body is made up of water. So drinking water as first thing in the morning can really be a good thing. The only way to soothing yourself through hydration is to drink plenty of water every day you wake up. So, you would start drinking water after you have a look at its long-term benefits. Here are these;

Firstly, maybe many of you can say that grabbing a cup of coffee or tea makes you up for work. But after starting your day with this stuff – it still makes you feel fatigued and dehydrated? So, the solution is to take enough hot water with lemon. By doing so, you will be able to boost up your alertness. Secondly, imagine the way your brain works. It needs water to function well. There are more benefits of drinking water; it can really strengthen your immune system, increases your metabolism efficiency, etc.

2.                 Go for a walk

This has become like my routine. Soon after I take hot water with lemon, I prefer going for a walk. This provides me enough energy for the rest of the day. Not only this – but an early morning walk makes you enough stronger to fight lifestyle-related diseases. Charushila Biswas an ISSA Certified Fitness Nutritionist and a Content Writer say that a 30-40-minute walk in the morning can change your life. She further explains the benefits of going for an early morning walk in her article “22 Health Benefits Of Morning Walk”.

3.                 Long shower

Just an amazing thing to do in the morning after you come back from the walk – and before breakfast. Mona Gohara, an associate clinical professor of dermatology at the Yale School of Medicine says that morning shower allows for time to meditate and regroup before starting a long or hectic day.

Some of us prefer taking night-shower. Both morning and night showers have their own benefits. But Dr. Alex prefers the morning shower. To him, the morning shower is the best thing to do. it nourishes your body's skin and makes you feel healthy.

4.                 A healthy breakfast

It’s time now to make a healthy breakfast. But stop for a while – what does your breakfast include? Maybe a cup of coffee or tea can make you up for the day – but will not meet your daily nutrient requirements, right? To me, a healthy breakfast is more than just eggs or toast.

The WebMD that’s been providing tools for managing health and giving valuable health information since 2005 says that the best breakfast is equal to Oatmeal + fruit + nut butter. It further proves that oatmeal is responsible for giving you complete carbs and fiber. Fruits not only give your breakfast a sweet taste but also a source of fiber and vitamins. While nut butter provides you healthy fats.

5.                     Spending quality time with family members

Have you ever thought of spending 15 mins with your family members before or after breakfast? This will really give you immense pleasure. Some successful people do this. They spend their quality time with family members…in Kitchen and at the breakfast table. Be it your wife, kids or parents it gives you

6.                     Newspaper headlines

If we are professional – we need to keep ours updated with the latest news – whether current affairs, business, information technology, human resources, finance, or sport. The reason is, as a senior in your company, you come across many people on a daily basis – and interact with them on different topics. According to Business Insider, Warren Buffett who is a Chairman of the Board and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway really starts his days with a variety of national and local news.

7.                     Check your emails

Now it comes to dealing with your business. When you are at your executive seat in the office, most of the time goes into conducting a meeting with employees – and conducting training to some extent.

So better to spend 30-40 mins on reading emails and responding accordingly. It gives you two advantages; one of the benefits is that you provide feedback on the earliest where it is required, secondly it lessens your burden when you are in the office.

8.                     Packing the perfect work bag

When it comes to packing your work bag – it should include all of your key items. E.g. Laptop, car keys, phone, notepad, and a pen. Would be good if you a checklist of these items. Including sticky notes with different colors on the checklist would be a good idea!

9.                     It’s Time to have look at your car

Just unlocking it and driving to work does not work. You can have someone who looks after it each morning and gives you a report. This will give a sense of confidence. And you will enjoy smooth driving. It’s not just driving to your office daily which is at 30 KM distance – but it’s all about that you might visit from city to city to conduct business meetings. So, you need a well-maintained car!

10.            Last but not least

Giving a final gesture of saying goodbye is a good thing to do prior to accelerating your car. It’s all about waving your hand out of the car window. It’s a really nice idea. This gives your family members an impression that how much do you love them.
