TOP 10 Resolutions to Grow UR Biz
Happy New Year….Did you make your New Year’s resolutions yet? Did you have the traditional pork and sauerkraut? What words come to mind when you reflect on 2020?
2020 - unbelievable, unprecedented, memorable, hard, scary, thought-provoking, appreciation, panic, financial instability, sickness, loss, and more.
The most important word for 2021is RESILIENCE, for some of us.
Most customers have expectations from where they shop or eat. We expect Kohl’s to have discounts, we expect the Edge Restaurant to have a happy hour, we expect our local grocery store to sell their holiday items at a 50% discount, at the very least. But, in 2020 our expectations were confusing.
So, what are your expectations for 2021? What words come to mind when you reflect on 2021?
2021 - hope, change, renewal, financial stability, new clients, safe gatherings, vaccine, flourishing businesses, people, hugs, events, back to live school and live meetings.
My number one word for 2021 is RECOVERY. We need to find ways to recover and continue to “Grow UR Biz”
Owning a small business is not easy and there are a lot of bumps in the road but many can be avoided by embracing change and utilizing opportunities like a new year to continue to strive to be the absolute best game in town. Some business owners only chase the money, like Mr. Wonderful says on Shark Tank, “All I care about is the money.” Regardless, chasing money is not necessarily the best plan of action.
