Good Morning Team! There is this awesome Real Estate Coach?Brandon Mulrenin , I recently came across his videos and I'm really enjoying them. He posted this video yesterday and I really like how he has laid out his points. I also really like how the points he chose really align with what we talk about everyday.?


It goes to show you that all businesses are the same. We experience?the same problems, the same setbacks...and the same fundamentals. When people say back to basics?avoiding things on this list is essentially what they are talking about. So you need to master this list! Really most of us aren't even doing the basic actions needed to really create?a foundational?business for themselves.?


I will take Brandon's points and give you my quick thoughts on why you want to avoid them.?


Avoid the?following you will succeed:


1. Never Follow a Schedule: If it’s not in your schedule, it’s not getting done. This means not having a structured plan for your day. Without a schedule, you'll find yourself wasting time and missing out on opportunities. Successful agents know the value of a well-organized day and stick to their schedules to maximize productivity.

2. Change Strategies Every 30 Days: Shiny Object Syndrome Consistency is key in real estate. Constantly changing your strategies can lead to indecision and lack of focus. It's important to find what works for you and stick with it, refining and improving over time rather than starting from scratch every month. Where is 80% of your business coming from?

3. Wait For Business To Come: Real estate is a proactive business. Sitting around and waiting for clients to come to you won't get you far. Successful agents actively prospect, network, and market themselves to attract business.

4. Never Work on My Sales Skills: Sales skills are essential in real estate and in life! Whether it's negotiating deals, handling objections, or closing transactions, constantly working and developing your sales skills is crucial for success in this industry.

5. Hang With The Wrong Crowd: If people aren’t doing a lot of business try not to take to heart most of what they say. Surrounding yourself with negative or unmotivated people can drag you down. It's important to associate with like-minded individuals who are driven and ambitious, as they will inspire and support you on your journey to success.

6. Eat Unhealthy: Your health directly impacts your productivity and energy levels. Eating unhealthy foods can lead to fatigue and lack of focus, hindering your ability to perform at your best in the competitive real estate industry.

7. Not Work Out: Physical fitness is not only important for your health but also for your mental well-being. Regular exercise can help reduce stress, boost your mood, and improve your overall performance as a real estate agent.

8. Run Away From Accountability: Being accountable for your actions and decisions is crucial for growth. Avoiding accountability can lead to missed opportunities for learning and improvement. Successful agents embrace accountability and use it as a tool for personal and professional development.

9. Never Study The Market: The real estate market is constantly evolving, and staying informed is essential for success. Failing to study the market can result in missed opportunities and poor decision-making. Successful agents dedicate time to studying market trends, understanding local dynamics, and staying ahead of the competition.

10. Don't have a Client System or SOP (Standard Operating Procedure): A systematic approach to managing clients and transactions is vital for efficiency and consistency in real estate. Without a clear system in place, you may overlook important details or fail to provide excellent service to your clients. Developing and following standard operating procedures ensures that every client receives the same high level of care and attention.
